ISU Junior World Cup Speed Skating

The ISU Junior World Cup Speed Skating is a series of Junior Speed Skating events, which takes place annually since 2008. The series comprises three events including the ISU Junior World Cup Speed Skating Final. Skaters can earn points at each competition, and the Skater with the most points on a given distance at the end of the series is the Junior World Cup winner of that distance.

A number of Junior World Cup titles are awarded every season in the Men and Women category; 500 m, 1000 m, 1500 m, 3000 m, Mass Start over 10 laps, Team Pursuit over 6 laps for Women and 8 laps for Men, and Team Sprint over 3 laps, Mixed Gender Relay (6 laps).

Participation in the Juniors division is open to Juniors A and B, born in the period 1 July 2004 – 30 June 2008.

The ISU Neo Senior World Cup is part of the ISU Junior World Cup Speed Skating competitions and skaters compete in the same events. It gives a chance to skaters who have not yet reached World Cup level in the senior ranks to develop further internationally.

Participation in the Neo-Seniors division is open to skaters born in the period 1 July 2000 – 30 June 2004.
